  • Descrizione: The poet Lord Byron (Manos Vakousis) decides to fight with the Greek revolutionaries at Mesolonghi against the Turks. He leads an rag-tag bataillion of Greeks, foreign farmers and derelicts. Byron is burning with fever; he has visions and sees the ghosts of past and present. In the maelstrom of the revolution, the poet is absorbed by the drama and ends up dead.
