  • Descrição: The Acropol theater, Athens’ celebrated musical theater, is preparing for an opening night premiere. Shortly before opening night, the manager of the theater is forced to fire one of the leading actresses, who is blind-drunk. Looking for a stand-in, considers taking the risk of hiring a former child prodigy of the cinema, Lakis Lazos, a distinguished actor specializing in comic women’s roles, who now runs an agency for bit actors. His decision turns out to be the right one, since Lakis is a huge success in the role, which causes inexpressible envy among his colleagues, who decide to set him up. The opportunity arises at the last performance, when actors and technicians perform a special, uproarious number during which crazy and unorthodox behavior is allowed. On that critical night, Lakis both humiliates and is humiliated, squares accounts and ties up loose ends - and returns to his agency.
