Description: Documentary voice-over and experimental image montage; sound and image clash when Eric M. Nilsson cunningly presents the financial conditions for making a film, and how impossible it is to measure quality. People from the film and cultural scene of the time, such as Culture Minister Jan-Erik Wikström and the Swedish Film Institute’s MD appear in the film, and we also get a glimpse of modern buildings and structures – including the glass obelisk Kristallvertikalaccent (Crystal Vertical Accent) at Sergels Torg square in Stockholm – as an illustration of how the film language, according to the director, calls forth “images of a truncated reality that only manifests as pieces”.
