  • Description: This is the film adaptation of the well-known operetta of the same name by Theofrastos Sakellaridis, directed by Greece’s first woman director. During the Balkan Wars, Vivi Zacharouli, sick and tired of the goings-on of her womanizer husband, who is now at the front, welcomes in Athens his godchild, who comes to live in their house. She doesn’t know, however, that this is not her husband’s godchild but an imposter, Petros Charmidis, who took the other’s place because he is in love with her. One day, she is visited by a classmate of hers from their old girl’s school, Kiki, who is Charmidis’ wife. Vivi asks her to intervene in the transfer of her husband from the front, but one misunderstanding leads to another until, at some point, everything becomes clear, and order is restored on all fronts.
