  • Description: The Italian ambassador’s daughter (Giorgos Moschidis and Vera Krouska respectively) is in love with an officer of the Greek army, Dimitris Nikolaou (Kostas Prekas). The Greek-Italian war separates the couple, and when the Germans arrive, an officer of the SS (Christos Politis) occupies Nikolaou’s home. The girl refuses to submit to the German officer’s advances. Meanwhile, her sweetheart returns to Greece as a resistance fighter and saboteur. When Italy surrenders, the Italian ambassador prefers to commit suicide rather than collaborate with the Germans; Nikolaou is arrested, and the two men are taken to the firing squad together.
